Mission Statement We come together to worship, grow, and serve as disciples of Christ.
9:00 AM ~ Adults - “Twelve Ordinary Men” with Mal Hays as facilitator will meet in the Chapel This class will bring you face to face with the twelve disciples. We will learn why and how they were chosen. We will study their personalities, their doubts and their hopes. 9:45 – 11:15 ~ Nursery will be provided by volunteers for infants and preschoolers during worship.
10:00 AM ~ Worship - The entire church family will gather in the sanctuary. Following the children’s meditation, all youth in grades K – 12 may leave for Sunday School. Please note that on Communion Sundays there will be no Sunday School, so that the church family may partake of the Sacraments together.
Children in grades K – 6 will meet in the basement of the Christian Education building for a large group opening with creative Scripture presentations and singing. This will be followed by dividing into two smaller groups for hands-on activities. Kid Connection by Faith Alive is a new, fast paced, learner–centered curriculum that brings Scripture alive with weekly lessons that are Reformed, Relevant, and Relational.
The first quarter ministry team members are: Large group lesson presenters: John and Margy Port Large group song leaders: Sarah Lewis and Zachary Hays Small group teachers: Nursery ~ Holly Stitt and Georgia Oiler K – 3 ~ Jodi Burns and Norma Kooman 4 – 6 ~ Marie Lewis Materials and Crafts coordinators: Brenda Mazzocchi and Leitha Seitz
If you feel called to participate in this exciting ministry, please contact Jodi Burns @ 227-2978 or Tamalyn Goble @ 797-5149 or e-mail, tamfirstpresby@verizon.net. We will be setting up a ministry team for 2nd quarter soon.
Teens in grades 7 – 12 will meet together in the Teen Room. Teen leaders will be Tamalyn Goble and Chris Wike. Come and learn how to make Jesus a meaningful part of your life today in the 21st century. Grow as friends in Christ.
